Kerastase shampoo and conditioner?

does this brand contain SLS and any harsh chemicals? because i've been told that it is much better than the other brands ( and seems A LOT more expensive too...). so i was wondering do they put good ingrediants or is it just ';glorified chemicals';?

i found this article: i will post the link later =)

A study at the Medical College of Georgia , indicated that SLS penetrated into the eyes as well as brain, heart, liver, etc., and showed long-term retention in the tissues. The study also indicated that SLS penetrated young children's eyes and prevented them from developing properly and caused cataracts to develop In adults.Kerastase shampoo and conditioner?
i'm voting glorified shampoo..

  • Would it be ok to use both the sunsilk shampoo and conditioners with garnier fructis products?

I ran out of my sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner and I want to try sunsilk. But I still have a alot of the sleek and shine serum and leave in conditioner. Can I use these with the sunsilk shampoos and conditioners with out any adverse effects? Thanks!!Would it be ok to use both the sunsilk shampoo and conditioners with garnier fructis products?
you;ve never mixed products before? I dont think Ive ever used the same shampoo and conditioner brands ever. No nothing bad happens lol, sometimes it works better.Would it be ok to use both the sunsilk shampoo and conditioners with garnier fructis products?
It's fine to mix products, but sometimes when you do so, your hair starts to smell funky. Make sure it all smells okay together. One time, I used Paul Mitchell serum with VO5 mousse and it smelled DISGUSTING! Hope this helps.
ofcourse! usually mixing brands gets the best results....

but i defently suggest Redkin my hair was always dry and knoty, ive tried sooo many different brands but im never going back to that!
i dont like that sunsilk stuff it dries your hair out you should be using loreal products, but if i had to know then yes it would be okay to mix them
i don't think that you would get the full effect.

    Shampoo vs Conditioner?

some people say shampoo works more than conditioner for hair growth

some people say conditioner works more than shampoo for hair growth

well I know that shampooing every day is very unhealthy for your hair

and i know that not conditioning your hair every day is unhealthy for your hair

Im a really pissed 10 year old.

and for all of the people who help thankyou for your love and support!!!Shampoo vs Conditioner?
Use both. If you don't use shampoo then your hair gets oily and if you don't use conditioner your hair gets dry and gross. Just stick it out, and remember, some people are NOT meant to have long hair.

    answer mine?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>Shampoo vs Conditioner?
I say shampoo is usually to cleanse dirt on your hair, particularly the scalp , while the conditioner use to moisten your hair and keep it strong.

As much as i know both of them didn't make any impact on fast hair growth. Usually i use special hair tonic to get my hair grow faster and always keep your hair clean and healthy.

But if you want to grow your hair in hurry, i say use extension instead.

I used aloe vera too in the past, and celery but it doesn't really drastically growth.

    hope it does help
well i dont think shampoo or conditioner actually make your hair grow. but using them both regularly will keep your hair healthy so that it will not break and split as it grows. you should also try not to use too much product or heat. and get it trimmed slightly every 8 weeks. and i have heard that gently massaging your scalp will encourage hair growth. and eat healthily!
    Hun, use shampoo and conditioner.

Why don't you talk to your mom about this? You are very young to be on this site and to be using some of the bad language that you have said.
    6th grade...what a year.

But...you can't actually make your hair grow faster. It all depends on your parents and...you know the whole story.

But you DO need BOTH shampoo and conditioner because keeping you hair healthy stops breakage. And with less breakage and healthier hair it ould be longer.

I love panteen and herbal essences. Although you can shop online for shampoos and conditioners that supposedly make you hair grow longer.

Here's a good trick I use and my hair is over a foot long, I chop it off and donate it every year to people with cancer:

Wash it every night both shampoo and conditioner. Put it in a braid or pony tail with holders every 4 inches apart. (or less than that for shorter hair)

Go to sleep with you hair wet and done like that and in the morning just brush it out like usual and it will be damp for about 15-20 minutes. It'll be really silky and I think it keeps it really healthy.

    Good luck with 6th grade!

Shampoo and conditioner help? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!?

ok, so I have processed hair because I dye my hair every once in a while. And because I do this, my hair is very oily at the roots and dry on the mid-shafts and ends. I have looked online on what I should use, and they say to wash hair mostly at the scalp and condition on the ends. Some say to use special hair shampoo for colored hair, but some say that those companies are just trying to scam you and take your money so they recommend using baby shampoo. I have been using the colored hair products, but have seen no results. Then again, i have been using those products incorrectly. What do you suggest I do? Are there any shampoos and conditioners that are the best of the best for my type of hair?

P.S. A hair professionals opinion would be ideal! Thanks!Shampoo and conditioner help? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!?
At any store they sell shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, this stuff treats your hair like it's gold. I use it and I don't dye my hair. As far as shampoo goes, only do the top of your head (the shampoo will go down your hair). Conditioning, well, what they said is right. If all else fails... switch brands. Really, it's great. I used to use the most expensive brands, my hair got tired of it. for a few days while I was camping, I used cheap motel stuff and it worked wonders. Give your hair something new once in a while.Shampoo and conditioner help? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!?
I have the same problem. My hair is oily at the scalp and dry at the ends. I use Ion Clarifying Shampoo on my scalp only. Then i use Herbal Essence self-targeting conditioner on the ends. I hope that helps!
I am same way i also do the same thing you do i color my hair quite often. The product i have found to work the best is redken for treated color hair. Its a little pricy but it works great!!!!!
I use brilliant brunette from John Freida. There's one for blondes called Sheer Blonde. IT's really good shampoo and conditioner, it's for natural or dyed hair. The ';light reflecting'; one really works great!
I agree with using the conditioner at least an inch from your scalp and wash your hair good at the scalp with shampoo only. I reccomend Tressemee Products. They work the best and are definetely affordable at any drugstore. Sometimes the hair color ones work and sometimes, you're right, they are just a scam. :)
dying your hair does not produce more oil at the scalp sorry whoever told you this has been misinformed.

now that we no this isnt true we can start to remedy the problem.

when was the last time you have a trim?

thats usally the first question i ask. if you do not trim you hair regularly ( evey 4 - 8 weeks depending on how your hair grows ) then that could be you problem it begins to break off and split up the shaft causing the hair to look dry, brittle, and unhealthy

also i ask do you ever deep condition your hair?

this is important when you do any kinda a chemical processing to your hair. you hair is gets its luster and shine from the oil on your scalp ( every heard of the old saying to brush your hair 100 times b4 bed) but it you hair a just frazzled this it cant absorb all the goodness of the oil

im really sorry to tell you that NO shampoo or conditioner or ';repair serum'; will ever fix you hair. with out seeing it i can only assume that you have a few inch's of dead ends that need to be cut

but if you do have any color on your hair then please do use shampoos/conditioners designed for color they are milder and helps maintains ph balance in your hair

I have damaged hair from highlighting and flat ironing my hair a lot. will this shampoo and conditioner help repair my hair and make it soft and shiny? Are TIGI Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditioners good?
if you use it everyday is kinds of gunky on the scalp. it makes you hair smell really good, but not very soft. i would recommend biolage. it doesnt weigh your hair down and you hair will be very smooth and shiny. biolage also has some really good deep conditioning treatments and just about any kind will be fine for your hair. trust me try the biolage and you will love it!Are TIGI Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditioners good?
