Your problem may be dietary. Your diet must contain certain oils.

Try eating more of the following items; avocados, eggs, steak, nuts, chicken, whole dairy products, pork, seafood.

Drugs, can also cause hair loss avoid all drug even prescription or over the counter drugs can deplete the body of nutrients.

Most likely your problem is too much product and styling. Leave your hair alone. Use aloe on your scalp till hair grows back. When hair is ready for shampooing, shampoo once a weak with a cheap shampoo and conditioner for dry hair. Cut your hair care budget to 3$ a month. Expensive products are not superior, they may even damage your hair. Keep it simple. If dryness persists brush small amounts of real butter into your hair.I really need help with my dry, breaking hair.i have tried every shampoo n conditioner but none seems to help..
Pantene Anti-Breakage.

Use it constantly. It takes about a week or two to actually see any results, but it really honestly does work.

Good luck with your hair!
Try Garnier Frutise (you can find it at walmarts and targets and stuff)

They make Shampoos for super dry hair and my friends love that brand.

Also but their deep conditioning and try that once a week.

Also I think Dove makes a good cream to put in Dry Hair after you have washed it.

Hope these will help.
If you are looking for a home remedy, pure 100% mayonaise, may be your best friend. Wash your hair, pick it out, and add a lot to your ends, working it in well. Wonder why it works so well? Hair is actually the same as your nails. It's the same as dead skin, and needs lipids/fats to keep it shiny and healthy. You've heard about brushing your hair 100 times a day? It really does help. It pulls the oil from your scalp to the rest of your ends. However if you have curly, or naturally wavy hair, I suggest you use a wide tooth comb. This still stimulates the scalp.

If you can get past smelling like a salad. The mayo really does work. If you have breakage due to overprocessed hair, such as too much coloring, or the dreaded over the counter colors, I suggest you start immediately. Slap it on, put a bag on it, and go sit in the sun for a while. The heat penetrates the hair shaft. Rinse in lukewarm water to seal the lipids in. This will weigh down your hair, so I wouldn't do it when you are heading out for fun. Do it when you have the extra time to spend on your hair. Try it twice a week for a couple of weeks. Throw away any over the counter garbage. Some of the shampoos are so high in ph balance, they actually eat hair. There is one, that has the same ph balance as draino. Scary isn't it. And people use that stuff every day. Indulge in using the salon products. Yes, they are more expensive, but for a good reason. Plus, you don't have to use a handful of shampoo, usually a little will go a long way. Good luck. Of course, there are tons of other conditioning treatments at your local salon, which will help you, in the case that you don't feel like smelling like a salad. :)
try pantene anti breakage shampoo and conditionair or pantene moisterization shampoo and conditionair. There all great stuff!
Shampoo and conditioners aren't going to help.

If you process your hair at all (color, perm, etc.) or use product on it, stop doing it. Also, try to get more protein in your diet, and exercise if you're able.

If you've gone completely bald, not from shaving it, I don't think there is any hope of growing hair anymore unless you have a medical condition that is causing it. Talk to your doctor about what could be causing this condition, other than aging.
well, if you hair is falling out, its not because of shampoo, you need to see a dr. if its just dry and breaking, find a mild shampoo, and a good THICK conditioner. shampoo once, ever other day, and put the conditioner in for about 3 minutes. rinse completely. let your hair naturally dry. dont use products. drink lots of water and eat healthily.
Before going wack-o on shampooes and conditioners, how's your diet? Are you eating healthy? Getting enough fat/oils? How about vitamins? How are your finger nails? Are they white and brittle? A good boost in your diet will be reflected in your hair.

good health!
Aussie 3-minute-miracle reconstructioner conditioner

that's what alot of stylists use and it's cheap ($2-$4) and i works WONDERS, so I've heard.
hey have you talked to a professional, because sometimes trying different shampoos can make it worse because you are not letting your hair get use to the shampoo your using this takes time.

i would really like to know too...i have the exact same problem.
There is a shampoo and conditioner at the salons thats called, silky sexy hair. Its the best thing Ive found for daily use. It really makes mine soft and I highlight mine regularly. Mine was like yours till I started using these products. Also, go get an intensive protein/deep conditioner treatment. They sell them at the stores. That should help. One more thing, have you had your thyroid checked? This could be the root of your problem.
olive oil, warm it up, not hot, and apply to ends, wrap hair in cling film, and put a towel round it. leave for as long as u can, up to an hour, when u wash it off rub the shampoo in first without water, then do a normal shampoo. honest, it really works. vo5 do a hot oil but this is much better. i have black coloured hair and sometimes tit feels wrecked, but this gets it in tip top shape, good luck hun x
well i dont see your list. try getting some kind of deep conitioner. also some kind of shampoo from breakage. ask you hairdresser about it-he/she will know what to reccomend. you may also want a leave-in conditioner (try elixers refining conidtior, thats what i use)
use baby shampoo its the mildest shampoo out there and it smells great and start using a leave in conditioner look for clairol or aussie or loreal
Get a protein conditioner or Anti Snap by Redken. Most hair that is breaking is deficit of protein, whether by diet (vegetarian) or by too many chemical services. You will want to use alot of it, but only use it sparingly as protein can be just as bad as a chemical service if you use too much. The good news is that the product will last a long time for you.
you shouldnt use the stuff you can buy at Walmart. I would go to your salon and get them to recommend and sell you some of the good products!
