Is Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner good for my type of hair?

okay i mixed: black and white. And my hair is very long and chemically enhanced( relaxed/perm) I started to use the aussie shampoo and deep conditioner it's making my hair smell really good and keeping it clean for a white. it has also made it softer. i heard that it makes african american hair puffy and frizzy, and i have yet to find those side affects in my hair. Anyway i was wondering if there is some product BETTER for my type of hair that also has that amazing smell like aussie. Price is not a problem :) Something that makes it more shiny and helps it grow.Is Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner good for my type of hair?
Aussie shampoo and conditioner are good for long hair apparently. You probably have healthy hair and are in good condition with good oils and structure to your hair. Don't change if it is working. Read the ingredients and talk to your hair dresser. Aussie shampoo is usually found in drug stores. Is Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner good for my type of hair?
Really Aussie shampoo %26amp;nd conditioner is good for many different types of hair like I am black %26amp;nd my best friend is white %26amp;nd we both use it also their styling gel %26amp;nd it has not damaged either one of our hair. We have the same length but her hair is a little thinner than mines but my hair is not like regular black peoples hair. Really it just depends on your type of hair and the texture of it. But I personally like Aussie best.
is good for dry and frizzy hair!

  • A good shampoo and conditioner for a swimmer?

i will be joining a swim team soon. i do not want my hair to get damaged because the team practices every day or every other day for about an hour. in high school, however, they practice everyday for 3 hours except on holidays and on sundays and saturdays are 2 hours. im not sure how long the swim team goes till, but id say for a few months. i have blonde highlights (from being sun bleached and getting highlighted) i hear swimming in a pool can turn blonde hair green and i know that without proper products, can really dry out your hair. i dont have a pool, but i do have a few friends who do, but i dont go very often. right now, i use either pert plus medium conditioning shampoo or sauve daily cleansing, because i share it with my brother. my parents would probably buy me a shampoo to fit my needs. for conditioner, i usually use suave naturals in any scent, or VO5 conditioner. what products would you recommend for me? thanks everyoneA good shampoo and conditioner for a swimmer?
Ultra Swim or Aveda's Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser. Both remove cholorine. Use a high quality conditioner with them. But, give up the VO5, Pert, Suave, etc. They are horrible for your hair.A good shampoo and conditioner for a swimmer?

    THE BEST!!!!

    made for long hair!
I use to use L'Oreal Vive Pro Nutri-Gloss or something, but it's in a pink bottle. It makes your hair really soft if you use both the shampoo and conditioner. But, now that my hair is getting pretty damaged from all the blow drying and teasing, I kept the shampoo (cause I like how my hair feels and smells) but switched my conditioner to Pantene Pro-V Time Renewal Deep Conditioner. I use the conditioner every other day, which makes my hair super soft. They're about $4-6 a bottle btw.

Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner questions...?

My hair is THICK, wavyish-curly, a little below my shoulders, and can be quite frizzy. (haha, my avatar is me with STRAIGHT hair in a ponytail!) I use Garnier Fructis shampoo presently, but next time I need shampoo and conditioner I will try Herbal Essences.

I am thinking about their ';Totally Twisted'; line (for wavy-curly hair) or their ';None of your Frizziness'; (for tackling and controlling frizz) line of hair products.

Which do you think I should try?

Also, if you have used one or both of the kinds, can you tell me that too please?

Thanks. :)Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner questions...?
Oh my gosh! My hair the exact same way! It's brown like your avatar too!

Haha, anyways, I would try Totally Twisted since it specializes in wavy and curly hair, while the Frizz one is just Frizzy in general. Herbal Essences always has really great smelling products, btw!

But either one would be good. Now if you get the Totally Twisted one, be sure to get both the Shampoo AND Conditioner becuase obviously they are meant to work well with eachother! And if they have like Leave in Cream or Spray it would be a good idea to buy it.

good luckHerbal Essences shampoo and conditioner questions...?
I would try Hydralicious if you're going to use Herbal Essences, but if you'd rather buy a more expensive shampoo and get greater results, use John Freida Root Awakening shampoo and condionter, it works great! :D
I love there new totally twist .. i have same hair as you and i use the orange totally twist and my hair are very pretty when they dry out by it self.. .and i really love the blue one too.

Does the shampoo and conditioner, Tresseme work?

Like does it stop hair loss? Because it seems like i'm losing a lot of hair like everyday, and I mean a lot. I haven't tried using Tresseme, but right now i'm using Pantene Pro V shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1. I'm thinking that PPV is doing this to my hair. Also, I have wavy hair, and I straighten my hair everyday in the mornings. I use to use product Baby Oil for my hair, so it won't look frizzy, and help my hair stay straight when I straighten it, but I have been stopping now. I don't know if that in anyways is affecting my hair, like it's damaging it. So, yeah, does Tresseme work?Does the shampoo and conditioner, Tresseme work?
Many times, 2in1 shampoos can be relatively damaging to your hair. Conditioner is meant to deeply penetrate your hair and when shampoo is mixed in... and left in... not the best combination. I have used tresseme's shampoo, conditioner, and hairspray. I love the hairspray the most. The shampoo and conditioner work great as well... comparable to salon brands (i also use redken). Downfall... the scent... not the most pleasing, but if you can get beyond that, it's great.Does the shampoo and conditioner, Tresseme work?
Okay- You definately need to invest in some quality haircare products. I have used tresseme before- and it is decent at most. However, it will not prevent you from losing your hair.

The problem with most of the pharmacy bought products is that they have alchohol and other chemicals that build up and can make u lose ur hair.

If youre trying to stop your hair loss- Nioxin is a really good shampoo to use.

Also, do you use a product to prevent damage before you straighten it? If not you should probably invest in something to prevent heat damage. I also have curly hair and it really isnt good to straighten it every day. When you do straighten your hair- u should leave it for a day to let it replenish a bit.

I know its costly- just like those facial creams to prevent wrinkles- but it is a lot cheaper than a hair transplant will be.

    Good Luck!
Treseme is okay, but what works better than ANYTHING is Garnier Fructus. Use the combo shampoo/conditioner as the shampoo and then use the deep conditioner after that. It works really really well.

EDIT: What I mean is, instead of using the shampoo, use the shampoo/condition combo. THEN use conditioner.
Try not to straighten your hair. I wrap my hair at night and put it in a bandanna and it stays all night and is straight in the moring... like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/kreativemin鈥?/a>

also your hair has to stay straight wrapped all around you head then the bandanna.

also shampoos My hair thinned out so much I used Nixon from the hair salon and it works great it thickens your hair so much....... good luck
Tresseme is good. What I do is change the shampoo and conditioner that I use every week. When you switch products often your hair feels softer, looks healthier, and is stronger. Also, I was informed that if your hair is shedding more than usual then you need to get it cut.
Yes...I've had really good results with tresseme. I forget the name of the one I used....but it's specifically anti-breakage, and the writing is in turquoise.

Only problem is...after about 6 months, it stopped working and I started seeing broken hairs in the shower again.
Tresseme is really good, and much less expensive. As to the hair loss, it could be ';normal'; spring shedding! Is your hair breaking or coming out from the root? Daily straightening can damage your hair significantly, and cause breakage. Let your waves go!
hair loss is something that goes on all the time sometimes you notice more then normal but its ok cause you shed and that is to be expected. take care its good stuff to use.
i use tresseme and it works perfectly fine for me but i also love pantene so they both are great and both work fine and great
The Mousse works better than the shampoo (It made my hair oily )
It gave me DANDRUFF real BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    yea tresseme does work,btw
Pantene might actually be contributing to your loss of hair. I was using Pantene myself and my hair started to get really brittle and dry. My stylist told me that one of the worst shampoos to use is Pantene. I guess all the stuff that's in it that's supposed to help your hair actually is damaging it instead. Tresemme is pretty good but I don't think it will help regrow your hair. Nioxin is really good for that. My roommate was losing quite a bit of her hair from dying it way too much, she started using Nioxin and it got a lot better. It's kinda pricey, but they sometimes have package deals at salons. Also, it sounds silly, but if you like eating jell-o, eat it a lot. Jell-o helps both your hair and nails grow better.

If you're under a lot of stress, that might also be making your hair fall out.

Hope that helps and good luck!

  • What shampoo or conditioner is best to have really thin and nice looking hair for men?

I have straight hair, it is quite thick and long, and i currently use head %26amp; shoulders shampoo and conditioner but still doesn't look exactly like the picture below so i was wondering which is the best way to make my hair look really smoothe and thin like this:

you just need a good voulme shampoo and conditioner and a root pumper spray i use Pantene sheer voulme and Big sexy hair hairspray

Is it okay to use two different shampoos and one conditioner?

i use ice cap revitalizing shampoo, herbal essence anti dandruff shampoo, and then herbal essence hello hydration conditioner.

sometimes i use biolage deep conditioner (about once a week)

is this okay? or is it worse for my hair?Is it okay to use two different shampoos and one conditioner?
It's actually good to rotate or alternate shampoos, hair can become accustomed to one shampoo if used continuously and it will have less of an effect, also using the same shampoo with silicones will cause product build up so alternating with a non-silicone variety is sensible.

EDIT If you're using them all at once then that's completely unnecessary bordering on silly, it's of no benefit whatsoever to your hair, it just means you'll have three potentially-drying and conflicting foaming agents being thrown at your hair instead of one, not very good at all, they will cancel each other out and strip your hair of its natural oils. Just invest in a good shampoo and conditioner (designed to work together) from a salon. Is it okay to use two different shampoos and one conditioner?
yea. why not? but, i wouldnt use the 2 in one shampoo and conditioners. those suck cuz its like dumping together shampoo and conditioner and putting it on the same time. the shampoo supposed to clean it but if u use the conditioner with it,it doesnt help cuz conditioner is supposed to make ur hair coated or something like that so if u use both together, its just coating ur hair with dirtiness. idk thats my logic
    Its perfectly ok.

It wont do anything to your hair.

    :]
no i use different types of shampoos and noting happens only that it leaves my hair soft
yes i do the same thing and my hair is awesomely cute(for a girl)

What shampoo and conditioner will fix my hair from being damaged after getting a perm? please help!!!!?

i just got a perm and my hair is extremely dry, damaged, and basically ruined until it all grows back again. what shampoo and conditioner should i use that will make it go back to its silky smooth and lively self? ive tried many products that were high quality but nothing ever seems to stop the damage of dryness and frizzyness. i just want my hair to look like b4 i got the perm without having to wait for it all to grow back cause its very long and i dont want to keep cutting it short? someone please help me!What shampoo and conditioner will fix my hair from being damaged after getting a perm? please help!!!!?
its going to be VERY VERY difficult to make your hair even CLOSE to being as healthy as it was before the perm. the best thing to do (and the healthiest for your hair) is to go to a salon (two weeks after the perm if you want to keep the curls in. if you dont care about the curls anymore go asap!) and ask for a DEEP CONDITIONING TREATMENT.

the deep conditioning treatment opens the.. i forgot what its called. but it opens hte ';holes'; in the hair and puts in vitamins and stuff so afterwards your hair is hydrated. you should do this about once every 1-2 months.

i got a perm half a year ago and i dyed it a few times too. my hair was DISGUSTING. really. and i just went to the salon last week to get it deep condittioned and my hair is soft and healthier now. i would need to go back in a few weeks or else my hair will become dry again.

deep conditioning DOES NOT damage hair in any way. it is HEALTHY for your hair!

it costs around $15-40. my salon charged $40 for washing, conditioning, and blow dryingWhat shampoo and conditioner will fix my hair from being damaged after getting a perm? please help!!!!?
I would use loreal or Pantene cuz that like really helps and it really does help my hair get the moister renewal or the vlumizer or somethin along th elines of that
    Redken.

    It works really good.

Which shampoo and conditioner would be the best for my really curly hair?

I have thick, dry, very tangly, hard to manage, and hard to comb curly hair. When I try to comb my hair I could barely get a comb through it because it is so tangly. I am biracial (my dad has short but very thick and small curly hair, and my mom has normal straight hair). Nexus and pantene don't work that well on my hair. Loreal paris shampoo and conditioner for dry hair works well but I want to try some other products. I want to try aussie and herbal essences. The products for herbal essences I am thinking about are totally twisted for wavy and curly hair: http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collect鈥?/a> and herbal essences hello hydration: http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collect鈥?/a> and herbal essences hydralicious reconditioning shampoo and conditioner for damaged and or dry hair: http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collect鈥?/a> My choices for aussie is the moist collection: http://www.aussie.com/us/collections/moi鈥?/a>

im biracial too and have super curly long hair that often gets puffy, tangly and dry. I just bought herbal essences shampoo and conditioner and it hasn't worked. It leaves it feeling hard and dry still.

I dont recommend herbal essences...atleast it didnt work for my hair.

I used to use tresemme moisture rich conditioner and shampoo which worked well.
    aussie is great!!!

BED HEAD!!!!!! it cost a lil but it works and smells great try it :)
I love the smell of aussie, and they are a really great price, but in my opinion they dont work that great. Every product I've tried by them leaves my hair really stiff feeling.

I love tressemme or garnier nuttrisse, garnier shampoo and conditioner works really good for curly hair. It makes it super soft, and alot easier to deal with.

Herbal essences, I've never tried that, but it wont hurt to experiment and find out which product works best for you.

What shampoo and conditioner should I use for thick wavy hair?

I have extremely thick layered hair which is naturally wavy. I normally either straighten or curl it because naturally it's in between.

I am looking for a shampoo and conditioner that stops the frizziness and defines the hair while making it not look as thick as it is!

I have tried TIGI bed head control freak, which I love but it is supposed to straighten hair and I think it's working so well that curling my hair has become more difficult.

I want to try out REDKEN shampoo... is it good? which one...?

Also, please don't suggest Pantene ProV it doesn't work on my hair!!

Also any other products you might recommend for my hair? thanks xWhat shampoo and conditioner should I use for thick wavy hair?

You should use Sunsilk for wavy hair. It adds strengh to your hair with vitamins and helps your hair grow long and healthy. You could also try anti-frizz.
Either Herbal Essance Long Term Relationship to grow out a little.

Also, Aussie sydney smooth works well for minorly frizzy hair thats wavy.

    Good luck!
use garnier frutis strenghth and shine thats what i use. You might also want to try pantene
i got my hair cut really short a year ago today.

i wanted it to grow sooo badly but what i found out is instead of trying to use a bunch of products to try to make it grow and stay away from frizz, (my hair is wavy and frizzy too), use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. but only for the term of one bottle. then use half a bottle of Dangerously Straight. then None of Your Frizzness. i also use Garnier Fructise leave in conditioner after the shower. with Samy Silk. and i use Chi Iron-Guard. BUT only when i straighten my hair. now my hair is below my shoulders and REALLY healthy. a year ago it was short, frizzy, fried, and wavy. oh! and if you truly use the shampoos for that long and have tons of patience, your hair will start being naturally straight and not frizzy at all! but towel dry your hair, use the products, then blow dry with a paddle brush.
OMG! you HAVE to get herbal esseses! it is totaly the best shammpoo in THE world! you can also get it for any type of hair to!

Is garnier good? What shampoo and conditioner is best for your hair?
Garnier is not good. After awhile it will start to make your hair look oily and it will be beyond shiny. Pantene is no good either. If you're willing to spend a few extra bucks, go to your nearest salon and check out their products! I happen to like Biolage myself. What shampoo and conditioner is best for your hair?
well it depends on ur hair.... but for me i use dove, it works really well
Yes Garnier is excellent. So are Pantene products.
It all depends on the texture of your hair. The less expensive shampoos and conditioners work just as good as the more expensive ones. Find out what kind of hair you have and go from there.
    garnier is amazing.

just buy some leave in conditioner to keep your hair soft all day.

    :)!

No it is not. Go to a nice salon and buy the most expensive shampoo and conditioner you can afford. You will be so glad you did.

Garnier is okay, not great. I prefer Finesse and Pantene shampoos, conditioners, hairsprays, and styling products for my hair. I have very dry, long, thick, straight/wavy, hair for reference
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Safeway, etc. Its the best! For conditioner, I really like Got2b Hottie Deep Rescue Conditioner; it's awesome!

Asian women should use products that are light and contain natural ingredients because they tend to have heavier, straighter hair. Deep cleansing shampoos are good too. If you want volume, do not use conditioner on the top of the head. Likewise, if you want to calm the volume, apply conditioner all over the hair to help weigh down fly-aways.

Cali Oliva Shampoo: The olive oil based shampoo is luxuriously scented.

Fudge Shampoo: Bubblegum scented, purple gel cleans gently.

About my hair: Male, hair is roughly about 1.2 inches or 3 cm long, extremely thick (and has some volume because of this thickness), straight, gets really greasy after a day of not showering (so I shower every day).

I don't mind buying any brand of shampoo/conditioner, even if others would deem it a female brand.

My hair is extremely thick, a little thicker than average leg hair, so it retains its shape very well, but it makes it extremely difficult to style, since it wants to keep its original shape.

I'd like my hair to be thinner and looser, so I could style it more easily.

I've tried using Dawn heavy degreaser soap on my hair before shampooing, so I could remove the grease, and potentially keep it off for the entire day, but it didn't work very well. Dawn kept the grease off, but it ended up making my hair feel even thicker.

My hair only feels thin and light when it's thoroughly wet, but after drying it gets that thick coarse nature again.

I have really thick wavy hair and my hair tends to get oily fast too but It also is a bit damaged bc I use heat stylers a lot and I've dyed it a lot... I started using Aveeno shampoo about two weeks ago and it looks great. It doesnt get greasy as fast and it looks and feels really healthy- sometimes I dont even have to style it. =]

If that doesnt work try the bar shampoo from lush- I really loved it but it was hard for me to use because I have really long hair. Def. go to the site and check it. Most of the products are vegan and all are %100 natural.

What shampoo and conditioner keeps her hair from being greasy longer??

Prell shampoo. I use it about once every week or two just to strip out the left over residue from other shampoos. If I use Prell every day it makes my hair too dry... so I think you should try this I believe it will work like a charm. As for conditioners.. just any light everyday brand should work fine. What shampoo and conditioner keeps her hair from being greasy longer??
I don't think you can counteract grease with a specific brand of shampoo. But I wash my hair every day so I am not sure. What shampoo and conditioner keeps her hair from being greasy longer??
There is no shampoo or conditioner that does that.If it's greasy then it's past time to wash it!
    matrix
Anything with tuna fish oil in it.
I don't know of a specific brand but whatever you do - don't use shampoos and conditioners for dry and damaged hair!

I get greasy hair and what i do is us e a shampoo for ordinary hair and then i leave it in for about 5 mins - then i use a conditioner for ordinary hair but i only condition the ends - i find this seems to help prevent my hair from getting greasy too quickly - but still looking good!

What Shampoo and Conditioner should I use next?

I've already used herbal essences, dove, suave, pantene, etc...

herbal essences didn't help my hair at all, though i might try it again later. i stopped using pantene when i heard it was bad for ur hair, and currently i'm using john frieda, and it's pretty good, but i'm wondering what ur opinion is on other shampoo and conditioners, like sunsilk, aussie, tresemme, etc..

any opinions would be awesome, plz tell me the shampoo and conditioner that u like, and i should use, and WHY u like it.

btw i have long, wavy hair. thnx in advance!!What Shampoo and Conditioner should I use next?
I love Aussie! Especially their 3 minute miracle conditioner. It makes your hair so smooth and smell so good. Every time I use it my hair feels really clean. It seems to take the build up out of my hair. I keep about three different shampoos and conditioners in my shower. Switching really does keep shampoo from building up in your hair causing it to look dull!

The other ones I use are Dove (but you didn't like that one) and Tresemme! They both just seem to keep my hair cleaner. Plus they smell really good. I have really oily and long hair. What Shampoo and Conditioner should I use next?
I really like sunsilk, I'm using the straight to perfection right now. My hair damages really easily and it seems like it's protecting it pretty good and it is keeping my hair moisturized and healthy. I also like tresemme too tho I haven't used it in awhile. I don't really like aussie all that much, except for the deep conditioner.
infusium 23 repair(oligie). that's what it's called. it's the only shampoo and conditioner so far that makes my hair healthy and shiny(: it doesn't irritate my scalp or skin. my hair grows faster and stronger. i always get compliments on my hair. it's a couple of dollars more expensive than pantene, herbal essences etc. but it's totally worth it! i'm completely satisfied with it.

hope you give it a try and good luck!

  • What shampoo or conditioner can make your short grow longer?

I'm sick of tired of short haircut. I want to make my hair long for less than a year. What shampoo or conditioner sell these product at the store? beside the internet

What shampoo or conditioner can make your short grow longer?
the garnier fructis line is great! its got vitamins that are great for your hair! i got a really bad hair cut once and i was so set on getting it long i bought three different conditioners that each had different vitamins to help my hair grow faster...one thing you can do also to make your hair grow faster is to massage your head everyday...it helps move the build up on ur scalp and makes the blood flow to ur roots i guess...It has been proven that massaging ur head helps your hair grow so thats what i suggest. What shampoo or conditioner can make your short grow longer?
i think nutrition is essential for fast hair growth, so try finding products that can help provide nutrients from inside the body such as hair growth vitamins etc(at stores). take your favorite multivitamin daily, coz most foods that we consume are lacking in vital nutrients and your hair growth is directly dependent on the nourishment that you give your body. beneficial omega 3 fish oil with borage oil can be used to faster hair growth and grow great skin and nails.

i heard that adding as much natural kelp to your diet as possible can help-available at most Japanese restaurants and health food stores. it has a high mineral content and is filled with iodine, which is important to nourish/strengthen your hair follicles.

also try to find fast hair growth shampoo available in stores at your continent.
    there is no such thing.

all you can do is make your hair healthier. healthy hair grows better and faster.

The most your hair can grow is about half an inch a month.

    New Shampoo and conditioner recommendations?

I'm looking for a suggestion on new shampoo and conditioner?

I use pantene pro-V right now, I dislike how it makes my hair feel, it makes my hair very greasy and weighted down, I know this is from the silicon coating it leaves behind, but I don't like it, even after the use of a deep-cleaning it doesn't help, and it gives me dandruff (I've used selsem and head and shoulders they don't work for me!)

I have used Tresemme but after about 2 weeks of use it makes my hair life less. I also dislike Dove it dries my hair out and I dislike the smell. I have tried different kinds of each brand too, for curly, straight, color treated, dry coarse ETC.

I have tried, sun silk, Gariner as well didn't like them either.

I have color treated, wavy hair that is very thick, sometimes I wear it curly other straight.

Suggestions greatly appreciated, however, please don't suggest the brands I've already mentioned that didn't work!

Thats funy cause I had the same problem!, and I was reading an issue of seventeen magazine. In their 2009 besties section it listed herbal essences hello hyration as the best shampoo and conditioner. I have tried it and have fell in love with it! But if you have strong dandruff problems then I would suggest using neutrogena t-gel before using your normal shampoo, it clears up right away and stays for longer than other brands

Hi - yeah a few hairdressers have advised me NOT to use Pantene as it can damage your hair in the long term so its good you are looking for something new :-D

Best shampoo and conditioner to make damaged/frizzy/poofy hair healthy again?

So I straighten my hair a lot...

Now it looks dry like hay. I'm so depressed on how ugly my hair looks now..

It's poofy and frizzy on the ends. and frizzy and flat on the top, sometimes greasy only on the top... I hate it. (it might be flat because I have long layers...)

I really just want nice shiny hair.

My natural hair is wavy... but now it's wavy/frizzy/poofy... and horrible.

So what shampoo and conditioner should I use to help my dumb hair?

    possibly organic.

oh, and I wash my hair every 2 days. shampoo and conditioner. Everyone says to do a weekly deep conditioning treatment. but they haven't told me which one to do!?!!?!?!?!!!

    So yeah,

If you could recommend a shampoo, a conditioner, and a weekly deep conditioning treatment, that would be great :)

I spend way too much time on my hair...my parents think I'm way too obsessed..Best shampoo and conditioner to make damaged/frizzy/poofy hair healthy again?
Your hair probably is in terrible shape because you spend way too much time on it- really. I know, when I was a teenager I had icky dry hair that I spent a lot of time on.

Wash once a week, use Pantene for dry hair, it is an excellent product. Straighten your hair one day and then let it be until your next shampoo. If you straighten or wash more than that, you will continue to have the nasty mess of hair you have right now, NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS YOU USE.

When it's wintertime and I flat iron my naturally curly, color treated hair, I shampoo every two weeks. It is softer and shinier than when I washed it weekly. And it doesn't get gross at all- I'm actually a clean freak. In the summertime when I let it curl, I shampoo once a week. If you don't take this advice, nothing can help you.Best shampoo and conditioner to make damaged/frizzy/poofy hair healthy again?
You cannot make overprocessed hair healthy again. You can add artificial shine and softening, but it will come out with shampooing. Get a cut that doesn't require so much styling.
not 1 shampoo or conditioner can do all that for your hair...you'll have to get the split ends cut off..sounds like you've really fried it.. you may want to cut down on the iron for awhile
My mate has very curly frizzy hair she uses john freedas collection for frizzy hair it seems to keep it healthy looking
finesse, finesse, finesse! If you are not satisfied I'll pay you back.
Well it depends, no offense but are you black or white? I am half white and half Jamaican and I use Pantene Shampoo, Conditioner, Sheen Spray and Treatment for Women of Color. It helps a lot! My hair used to be so frizzy, poffy and damaged that I had to cut it all off. If your ends are really fried from straightening it to much, than cut off all of the dead ends. My hair used to be very very long then I learned and used the straightener. If you are colored, you should really only wash your hair once a week at the most. I know it sounds gross, but your hair grows and relpenishes itself when it is dirty. If you do sports, than definetly wash it after a game or something.

Best shampoo and conditioner for soft hair?

Since my hair is really soft, it frizzes after I wash it in the morning. It's like I have to sleep on it at night for it to look good the next day but sometimes I'm too lazy to take a shower at night. I have naturally straight hair. It's a couple inches below my shoulders. I only blow dry for 30 seconds on cool to give it volume. I let it air dry; that's why I don't have splitends. I've been using Pantene forever. (I mean as long as I remember it's all I've used) It works fine but not when I wash my hair in the morning. It just frizzes.Best shampoo and conditioner for soft hair?

What shampoo and conditioner is best for dandruff, shine, and oiliness?

    Here's my hair type:

-I'm Filipino (I guess my race will help?)

-Age 13 girl (teenagers DO get oilier right?)

-The roots are like oily and like a few inches down it's just normal. like soft and a little oily.

-my hair is a little wavy and kind of straight.

    -it's highlighted (color treated)

-I have some dandruff. it's not severe, but it's on the roots.

-I have loads of different shampoos and conditioners. I tried a lot of different ones for my hair: Aussie, Pantene, Bath and Body Works Conditioner, White Tea (hair salon brand), Herbal Essences, Sunsilk and Creamsilk.

-Currently I'm using Head and Shoulders

So, are there any shampoo and conditioners you would recommend to me? I preferably want my dandruff and oiliness away, and just have it evenly moisturized.

Also, is there any advice on any food i can eat to make my hair healthier or something? What else I can do?

Thanks :)What shampoo and conditioner is best for dandruff, shine, and oiliness?
you can try t-gelWhat shampoo and conditioner is best for dandruff, shine, and oiliness?
Nizoral shampoo is the way to go. you only have to use it 2-3 times a week, so you can continue using shampoo and conditioner beneficial to your other hair issues. you also have the option of just shampooing your scalp with the nizoral, then using your regular shampoo on the rest of your hair. getting rid of the dandruff will help with the oiliness.

I've already looked into this before on answers but they usually recommend herbal essences. I also don't want to buy bed head again because it's REALLY expensive compared to herbal essences. Since you are using store bought dies which are already horrible for your hair, you should spring for a professional colour treated shampoo and conditioner and deep condition. After I bleached my hair when it was died black my hair was falling out as I brushed it. I like Joico products best.Best Shampoo and Conditioner for Coloured hair?
I'm a hair stylist and I am not pushy at all when it comes to selling them products. But if they just spent $70+ coloring their hair and they were going from lighter to darker, I will always try to get them to buy some color safe shampoo and conditioner. And please don't buy the cheap crap from the grocery store! It will more strip your hair color out then protect it! I love the Pureology line, it is all color safe! But it is pricey, so if you are looking for something a little less expensive, use Redken-color extend. Or just ask your hair stylist, and if you are coloring it yourself, all hope is lost, just use the cheap crap!
Well, if you're looking to add moisture, I would suggest Herbal Essence Color me Happy Shamp. and Condit. They make the hair SOOO much less dry. But if your hair needs no moisture, then yes, pantene would be good. Since they probably don't have a blue. Go for the black color. I think Suave may also have a line of products for colored hair. I'm not sure if they have black tho. Good luck. Blue sounds like a fun color!
The best shampoo and conditioner you can buy for colored hair is NEXUS. Go to any salon.nexus ultimate shampoo for color treated or damaged hair. And Humectress conditioner also by nexus

What shampoo and conditioner should i use?

i need a new shampoo and conditioner...i just ran out of my aussie.

Iv been using aussie for a while now and its been working really well i just wanna try something new. Something that smells reeeeally good and will keep my hair soft and smooth. Maybe the new herbal essences hydralicius ( if you used tell me if you like it). My hair is naturally straight, ive never dyed it or anything, and my hair has a lil frizz so also something that will not make it frizzy. So if you have used anything that u really like plzzz tell mee.

  • Best Shampoo and Conditioner for Coloured hair?

I have dyed black hair and its not completly faded but over the next couple of days I am going to redo the black and bleach some of my hair (40 volume flashlightning) to put in Manic Panic's After midnight blue and I want to strenghten my hair inbetween the dye jobs and after.

By the way I live in the uk so perhaps it could be something I could purchase in Boots or Superdrug?

Any further tips to help my hair whether it be home remedies or products I could buy it would really help

Thanks for bothering to answer XDBest Shampoo and Conditioner for Coloured hair?
Since you are using store bought dies which are already horrible for your hair, you should spring for a professional colour treated shampoo and conditioner and deep condition. Dying your hair black and bleaching your hair are 2 of the worst things you can do yo your hair, doing both is even worse.

What shampoo and conditioner should i use?

ok so for about a year now ive been using Tresemme smooth and silky. before that i used head and shoulders for dry scalp but when i went to get my hair cut the lady told me that shampoo has too many chemicals that i should use something with vitamins so i had switch to Tresemme. ive tried various kids of shampoos and i want my hair to be shiny thick and long. i know there might not be a shampoo to make i t longer but my hair falls out alot. i have hypothyroidism but it falls out when i shower and brush. i don't know if it does that because it is getting longer. i want my hair to reach to my waist and so far im about 5 or 6 inches from my goal. do you have any hair tips and what shampoo i should should use? What shampoo and conditioner should i use?
Hair falling out is normal :) Try not to worry over that. I used to use Tresemme, too. I always switch my shampoo and conditioner on a monthly basis. Your hair gets too used to the shampoo and conditioner and won't 'behave'. I use garnier fructis, and aussie. I really think they are the best. Their conditioner is awesome. What shampoo and conditioner should i use?
It's a little expensive but I love the bedhead line of shampoos and conditioners. go to your store and look at them. there's a different set for different hair types

Cheap shampoo and conditioner for heat damaged hair?

I used heat regularly to straighten my hair (I also use a thermal protection cream and leave in conditioner)

I just wanted to know if I can do anything else to protect it since I don't want it to die on me. Is there anything else I should be doing besides this?

Also, what shampoos/conditioners help with preventing/restoring heat damaged hair?

I'm looking for something cheap (Nothing over $9)

Thanks :)Cheap shampoo and conditioner for heat damaged hair?
    apHogee all the way.

Try their Shampoo for damaged hair and for the conditioner, Intensive Two Minute Keratin Reconstructor.

At Sally's (where I live) the Shampoo is $7.49 and the conditioner is around $6.00. However, is you have a Sally's card it will knock a dollar off the shampoo and two off the conditioner.

Forgot to add they come in 16 oz. bottles. Also wanted to add that you can get smaller sizes. I just happen to think the 16 oz bottle gives you more bang for your buck.Cheap shampoo and conditioner for heat damaged hair?
I always see these types of questions ';cheap shampoo that works good';.. that type of thing. kinda doesn't make sence how many times to you see things out there that work really well and are cheap? i know there are people who think well i use suave and it works great but listen, if you have never used the really good stuff how do you know if it works great or not? that is all you have ever used.. kind of like a bmw doesn't make sence to people then you drive one and you say ooohhh! that is very nice much better than the car I have now I understand why people like a bmw so much.. anyhoo just a thought you get what you pay for.. that is why people use the term ';cheap'; its not a good thing most of the time.. yeah there are a few things out there where cheaper is better.. this isn't one of them:) just my opinion.

It's perfect for my hair, but it is impossible to get it in NYC, so i'm stuck. Has anyone tried this shampoo and know where to get it in the US or an american alternative.

Pantene and Herbal essence both make my hair a little frizzy.

If you can, please give a full lineup of the product you suggest (like shampoo, conditioner, and whatever goes with it)

I don't know where to get that shampoo at, but I do know that Bumble and Bumble is also very good! It does not make my hair frizzy at all! It's also high quality like that one seems to be. You can buy it at salon or possibly a drug store like Target.Buying Shampoo and Conditioner??
